ON TUESDAY North Cornwall District Council's Planning and Development Committee will consider plans for 27 affordable houses on land adjoining Victoria Gardens, Camelford.
Poltair Homes are seeking outline planning permission for 27 dwellings, made up of nine Housing Association for rent and 18 for low cost purchase.
The site currently has valid outline consent for 27 affordable dwellings but this application seeks to provide the same number of units but with a different mix of tenure.
Case officer, Paul Banks, has recommended the application be refused as "the proposal would fail to provide dwellings to meet local affordable housing needs contrary to the aims and intentions of the council."
