FORMER Round Table members who are from, or have moved to, the Launceston area are being invited to join an organisation of ex-Round Tablers in the town.

The newly appointed chairman, David Robinson, recently received his badge of office from the former 41 Club chairman Chris Uren, who said: “The Launceston Round Table Active is an organisation of ex-Round Tablers who want to continue the spirit of friendship and fun that many Round Tablers experience, with less emphasis on fundraising and more on keeping active.

“The last two years have been very successful under Chris Uren’s chairmanship with trips to local businesses including David S Smith factory, kayaking down the River Tamar and meetings with other local 41 clubs and the current Launceston Round Table.”

If anyone is interested and would like to join, or if any business would be interested in receiving a visit from the club, contact Mr Robinson on his work contact 01566 774999 or email d.robinson@stags.co.uk
