Searches by air and on foot have been carried out for a man from Liskeard who went missing yesterday and has still not been found.

Police are increasingly concerned for the welfare of Mark Putrill, 41, who was last seen at around 3pm yesterday in Liskeard town centre.

He left home at around 11.30am without his phone but carrying his wallet and possibly a rucksack or carrier bags with him.

Mark is a white male with tanned skin, around 6ft in height, of slim build, with short dark hair and a stubbly beard. He may be wearing mechanic style clothing with a jacket.

Officers say that area searches and enquiries have been continuing today in a bid to find Mark. If you see Mark, you are asked to phone 999 immediately, or if you think you know of his whereabouts please contact police on 101 or via email at 101@dc.police.uk quoting log 470, 28/6/21
