A GROUP of 12 brave ladies from Altarnun recently got together to produce the ‘Altarnun Calendar Girls’ calendar managed by Sue Cousins and Rob Carlyon.

The aim of the calendar was to raise funds for the Cornwall Air Ambulance new heli-appeal and Children’s Hospice South West (Little Harbour). The total amount raised was £1,580 and was divided equally between the two charities at a cheque presentation day on Friday, February 15. The total number of calendars sold was 230.

A spokesperson from the Altarnun Calendar Girls group said: “Thanks especially to the sponsors who without their support we would have struggled to get the calendar into publication.”
