WAITROSE in Holsworthy got involved in the North Devon Hospice event ‘Pitch in a Pound’ by holding a buy and bake sale.

They raised a fantastic £79.05 to support The Long House, North Devon Hospice’s outreach centre in Holsworthy.

The Long House supports local patients and families who are facing life limiting illnesses and provided 1,000 support sessions last year.

This support is only made possible by the generous, ongoing support of the local community.

North Devon Hospice community and events fundraiser Jess Burford said: “Huge thanks to everyone at Waitrose for their generous support baking and eating cakes and to Marilyn Chidley for her amazing work organising the event.”
