THE Bude Scout Cubs rounded off a busy centenary year with the making of advent calendars at their scout headquarters recently.

The calenders were created by the 48 cubs over two separete nights.

Cub and group leader, Amanda Lovejoy, explained that she sat down with the cubs and talked about what advent is all about and why people have advent calendars.
