MILLERSON Estate Agent’s have entered ‘The ESTAS’, the Oscars equivalent of the property industry and the Launceston branch will be among the firms entered.

This is one of the largest award schemes of its kind in the UK and all five of the Cornish family firm’s letting offices will be entered separately, including the Launceston based firm, in the ‘Best Letting Agent’ category.

Landlords using the Millerson services will be invited to score the company in 14 areas. These areas include: their website, first contact, agents’ understanding of legislation, communication and negotiation skills, speed and efficiency.

All customers who provide feedback will be automatically entered into a prize draw.

It is hoped that this voting system will not only give judges a chance to hear of the quality of an agency‘s customer service but, as entrants are able to see the scoring provided, it offers a valuable feedback from clients to enable agents to improve their service.

Millerson’s Lettings Business Development Manager, Katie Law, said: “In many ways the feedback is more important to us than winning. There is always room for improvement and hopefully by entering we are sending a message to people that we really care about our performance, strive to enhance it and value clients’ opinions.”

The ESTAS take place every April at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, hosted by TV property expert, Phil Spencer, in front of 1,000 of the UK’s top property professionals.
