THE Growth Hub will be coming to Bude Chamber of Commerce tomorrow (Friday) to launch its ‘On the Road’ programme in North Cornwall.
Growth Hub was set up in response to a common issue raised by businesses: that the range and complexity of business support available locally and nationally is too confusing and time-consuming to navigate. Growth Hub addresses these concerns by signposting businesses to the most appropriate support.
Growth Hub ‘On the Road’ is a grassroots programme designed to bring this message out to the business community, encouraging individuals and businesses to take advantage of the support available to help them start-up or grow. This activity will focus on local areas and communities across the Duchy rather than taking a ‘one size fits all’ approach.
Verity Lawson, events manager from Bude Chamber of Commerce, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming the Growth Hub ‘On the Road’ to our event.
“It will be really valuable for our members and businesses in this area to find out more about what guidance and support they can access via the Growth Hub and what other activities they can get involved in through the ‘On the Road’ programme.”
The event takes place tomorrow at Oceans Community Centre, The Strand, Bude from 10am onwards.
The Growth Hub will also be going to Launceston and Camelford this month.
‘On the Road’ is the outreach programme for the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Growth Hub, which is part funded by £2,435,909 from the European Regional Development Fund, and is match funded by Cornwall Council, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership. The Growth Hub is delivered by Cornwall Development Company.
