BUDEHAVEN Community School has been successful in gaining the International School Award, and is accredited for another three years commencing September 1, through August 31, 2015.

The British Council International School Panel's comment on the application stated: 'Budehaven Community School was congratulated on working so hard to co-ordinate such an impressive range of committed, creative and innovative international work, which continues to develop and benefit the school and wider community'.

Amongst the various international links Budehaven has created is a partnership, which started as a Youth Sport Trust initiative, called Dreams and Teams five years ago with Asossa High School, Ethiopia.
