MORAG Ford (also known as Mogsy) of Lynstone, Bude is taking on a further challenge to raise vital funds for the charity Cerebral Palsy (CP) Sport by running the Flora London Marathon on April 13. This will be Morag's second marathon in six months, having recently completed the New York Marathon in November in memory of her nephew Howard Kensit who had cerebral palsy. You may have seen her out on the cliffs or by the canal in Bude training with Roxy the dog. Morag said: "Howard was a total star and touched the lives of everyone who met him — sadly he is no longer with us but I'm raising funds for Cerebral Palsy Sport in his memory and want to help others like Howie have fun and develop mobility and self- confidence through sport. Being able to participate in sport makes such a difference to those who suffer from this disability." SEE the Bude & Stratton Post for the full story, plus pictures and stories from the Bude district.
