Bude Town Band recently presented two of their members with Long Service Awards for loyal and committed service to the band. Margaret Frost, a member of the band's executive committee, was presented with her award by the band's Chairman Bridget Inch for 40 years service to Bude Town Band. Earlier in the year at the band's annual award evening, Margaret was presented with the Broomhill Manor Cup for commitment to the band. Michael Inch, a playing member and President of Bude Town Band, also received his award from the band's Chairman Bridget Inch for 60 years service. Michael was also presented a Long Service Award from the Cornwall Brass Band Association for 60 years service to the association. This award was presented to Michael by the secretary of the Cornwall Brass Band Association, Mrs Frances Calver. Bude Town Band wished to thank everyone that had supported them throughout 2008 and looked forward to people's support throughout 2009.
