BUDE-Stratton Town Council will send a written objection to the Secretary of State, Eric Pickles in response to a developer's plans to build on land at Binhamy Farm, they agreed at their meeting on Thursday, April 7.
Members of the public and ward representatives of Cornwall Council gathered to discuss the matter, which has provoked a lot of reaction in the town over recent years.
The initial application to develop land at Binhamy was first submitted to Cornwall Council in November 2008, but were rejected by the Secretary of State last August after considering a four day appeal which was held in March.
However, the Communities and Local Governments Agency revealed recently that the application is once again to be considered, after the Catesby Property Group challenged the decision in the High Court through international law firm, Eversheds.
