A NEW community accessible car scheme for local residents in the Bude area was launched by Volunteer Cornwall and local Cornwall Councillors on Thursday, September 20.

The cars are specially adapted to be suitable for people with disabilities.

The scheme is designed to help all local residents, whether they require a wheelchair space or not, to access services and facilities where existing public transport is unavailable or unsuitable.
