ON EASTER Sunday, Bude Rugby Club's mini and junior section played host to two touring teams from Barkers' Butts in Coventry and Wooton Bassett rugby clubs. The three way event was made more special by the Coventry club's decision to raise money for a breast cancer charity whilst on tour. Bude donated monies raised from programme and raffle sales and over £400 was accumulated by Barkers' Butts for Breast Cancer UK. As well as fundraising, some terrific rugby was played throughout the age groups from seven years to twelve-year-olds and the under-fourteens. Thanks have been extended to the visitors and all who helped in making it a successful event.
