Bude Lifeboat's SOS events raised £1,114.55 over the SOS weekend (January 29 and 30). Firstly an evening with Friggin Riggin raised £60 at the Falcon Hotel and then a collection at Morrisons on Saturday raised £1,054.55. The crew, committee and guild would like to thank everyone involved for their help and all who generously donated to the charity. A spokesman said: "The RNLI is a charity that rescues on average 21 people every day and relies on public donations and legacies to fund its work, and receives no UK Government funding, so from the crew, committee and guild in advance thank you for your support."
