BUDE Police have expressed their thanks to the community following a weekend that saw no reports of anti social behaviour.

The Post recently reported on the police seizing cans of beer from an underaged individual.

Bude Police wrote on Facebook: “Following our post last week regarding our on-going operation to safeguard our youths, only one bottle of alcohol was seized by officers.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank the people of Bude, but especially the younger members of the community for their help and co-operation.

“As a result there were no reports of anti social behaviour over the weekend. Thank you all for your help in keeping Bude safe!”
