Between 4pm on Wednesday, February 10 and 8.45am on Thursday, February 11, two burglaries occurred in commercial premises in Bude.

A police spokesperson said: "A shop in Princes Street had damage to a door frame and glass panel by a person or persons attempting to gain entry. They were unsuccessful in their attempts.

"A premises in Morwenna Court had damage to a single glazed window by someone who entered the premises and stole a quantity of property. The items stolen were in a 12in by 8in by 6in deep chocolate brown metal money tin."
