BUDE Memory Café was one year old on Friday, November 4 and members celebrated with a party for some 32 guests, carers and volunteers.
An afternoon of musical entertainment was led by Colin Curbishley, followed by a birthday tea and cake.
A spokesperson said: "The anniversary was one of the best attended cafés enjoyed by all of our members, bringing our first year to a wonderful close. We look forward to building on this year's achievements."
Wendy and Gordon Dronfield, who have been regular visitors to the café since its opening last year, cut the special cake, and café volunteer Alan Butler presented a sponsorship cheque for £325 to chairman Kim Tresidder.
