BUDE has always struck the right note when it comes to the annual Jazz festival and this year is no exception.

International stars and old time favourites mingled together at dozens of different events and many and varied venues.

Large crowds turned out for the parasol or umbrella parade which kicked off the 23rd annual festival.

The event, which draws spectators from a wide area, finishes on Friday with the Charity Jazz Night organised by Bude Rotary Club.
