A HOLIDAY park in Bude has been named among some of the best in the country for a third year in a row.

Each year, experts at Campsites.co.uk reveal the top 150 Outstanding Sites for 2026, providing well-deserved attention for some of the nation’s greatest ahead of the summer holidays.

This year, 17 sites in Cornwall and 11 in Devon made the list, however, it is Wooda Farm Holiday Park which has impressed the most, by securing its place on the list for three years in a row.

Wooda Farm Holiday Park on the outskirts of Bude is a family-run park packed full of activities and facilities, making it a popular choice for families looking for an active getaway. Onsite experiences range from cheerleading classes and Segway sessions to archery and tractor tours, giving guests plenty of ways to fill their days without leaving the park.

Wooda’s story began nearly 100 years ago, and the park has remained in the ownership of the Colwill family ever since. The holiday park itself opened in 1975, but its roots go back much further, when it was a working farm. It was first brought into the family by Samuel (known as Jim) and Bessie Colwill, who ran a bed and breakfast from the farmhouse while also managing around 200 sheep and 50 dairy cows.

Campers are clearly big fans of the site too, with it boasting an impressive 4.8-star rating on its travel listing and 98 per cent of visitors saying they would recommend it.

Martin Smith, founder of Campsites.co.uk said: "It's a real pleasure to launch our list of outstanding sites. The chosen campsites are all trusted favourites with our campers, and sites we're proud to put our name to, so you can book with confidence."
