THE former Headland Club (and previous JJ's Bar) in Bude is to become 30 sheltered apartments.
An application put forward by Pegasus Retirement Homes PLC, to clear the current site at Crooklets Road, Bude, and erect a two storey building has been approved by Cornwall Council's East sub-area planning committee.
The building will comprise of 24 open-market and 6 affordable sheltered apartments, together with communal facilities. office, access ad parking provisions.
The decision for the 30 new apartments — served by a total of 12 car parking spaces — was approved at the planning committee meeting, held in Liskeard, last Thursday (February 4).
