BUDE Christian Fellowship held an Honour Our Volunteers Day on Sunday, October 30 to mark the amazing contribution 40 volunteers have made in the running of Bude New Life Centre, The Strand which opened in April this year.

The centre is open throughout the week and offers a range of services to the community including the Bude Foodbank, Meet and Eat Lunch Club, Creative Toddlers, Interact (IT project with Budehaven School), Life Skills Training, Street Pastors, CAP Money Coaching, Super Heroes Kids Club and Waves Youth Club.

In January 2012 £1@Refuel will be launched for anyone to enjoy a meeting place, refreshments and company on Monday, Thursday and Fridays from 10.30am to 1.30pm. All refreshments, snacks and light lunches will be £1 per item.

Many local organisations and social action groups for activities that benefit the  community have hired training, conference and activity rooms in this facility on The Strand.
