Ladies' charity fancy dress football and hockey matches held at Budehaven School on February 21 raised £1,458 for Cancer Research UK, which included a raffle held at the Inn on the Green after the tournament. In recognition of this, a certificate was presented to the event organiser Leanne Stanbury by Chairman of Bude Cancer Research UK Ray Shaddick.
