THE newly-formed Bude Sea Pool community group are looking for volunteers and helpers.

The group held its first meeting at the Parkhouse Centre, Bude, last night (Wednesday).

The group is calling on anyone who would like to help keep Bude Sea Pool open to come along. All levels of experience/knowledge will be useful, the main thing needed being enthusiasm.

The chairman of the Group Rowena Hoseason says: "It is vital to the community group to have as many volunteers as possible.

'LOTS TO BE DONE'

"There is lots to get done to be ready to take over the sea pool next season. We need help with fund raising, research, admin and many other things, so please come along."

Cllr Nathan Bale says: "I have a lot of faith in the newly-formed committee and would encourage as many people as possible to offer them their help and support. It is said that many hands make light work, and it's true!"

If you have a few hours you could give to help this good cause, it could make a massive difference.
