A BUDE-based business has been named this year’s Most Ethical Luxury Homeware Brand by British Made Awards.

Formed in 2016 ‘BUDEFUL’ is a joint venture between Netty Wilson and Nathan Bone, who both share a love of Art Deco. Their designs are modern and stylish and are produced using sustainable, low impact UK based manufacturing practices.

“We’re overjoyed to win this award,” says Netty. “This year we’ve been exceptionally busy, so this award is the icing on this year’s cake.”

So what does Netty attribute BUDEFUL’s success to?

“Our customers tell us that our designs conjure up warm sunny days on the beach,” says Netty “and they’re delighted to have found niche luxury homewares that are both ethical and affordable”

So what’s coming next for BUDEFUL?

“We’re currently expanding our product range,” says Netty “and increasing amounts of customers are finding us online. It’s lovely; it means that even if they aren’t able to visit Bude, they can still bring a piece of Bude into their home.”

This delightful business has shown that with a stylish diverse product range, it is possible to own something BUDEFUL that never costs the Earth.
