BUDE 11-year-old Samuel Jennings successfully completed his 92-mile marathon cycle ride from Bude to Land's End and has raised £1,500 for Friends of Bude Sea Pool.

Supporting Bude Sea Pool runs in the Jennings family; Samuel's great-great grandfather was one of the team who originally built the much-loved facility back in 1930.

Since then many generations have learnt to swim safely in the pool, and when Samuel heard that FoBSP need funds to pay for structural repairs to the outer sea walls, he was determined to do his bit.
