BUDE-BASED band 'The Sum Of' are to release their debut album this Saturday night at Bude music venue Bar 35.

The four-piece band have been together for three years now and consists of Steve Salf (Ralf) on vocals, John Bluett on guitar, Wesley Hutchinson on bass guitar/keyboards and Paul Feasey on drums.

The boys have been causing quite a stir recently after having recently won both the Newquay and Okehampton Battle of the Bands competitions with their own brand of melodic, energy filled rock music.

The independently financed record has been 12 months in the making, the recording and mixing being completed locally at the 'propagation house' Recording Studio, and the final master being engineered in London by David Richardson, who has been responsible for mastering upwards of 100 number one UK singles.

The release has been eagerly awaited locally, and the boys are quite keen to stick to their roots by releasing the album in Bude.

Singer Ralf said: "We are really looking forward to playing our album tracks on Saturday, we are going to play some new material as well which hopefully will go down well. We look forward to seeing everyone there!"

If you want to see the boys in action then get down to Bar 35 this Saturday. The album will be available to purchase on the night, and is also now available to download from i-Tunes.
