LAST Thursday at the full council meeting, Bude-Stratton Town Council agreed, by a majority vote, an increase of 10 per cent in its portion of your Council Tax bill.
The recorded vote showed the following: Those councillors who voted for the increase are — Cllr Roger Rowland, Cllr Heather Partridge, Cllr Lea Deely, Cllr Hilary Phillips, Cllr Frank Partridge, Cllr Barry Garvie, Cllr Lesley Moores.
The Mayor, Cllr Peter La Broy decided to abstain from voting.
Those councillors who voted against the increase are — Cllr Julia Bryson, Cllr Lesley Sharratt, Cllr Trevor Macey, Cllr Kevin Harris, Cllr Enid Greenwold.
