ON Friday, August 17 the duty watchkeepers at the National Coastwatch Institution station at Boscastle spotted a yacht in difficulty in strong South West winds, and it appeared to be heading for Boscastle harbour.
The visibility had varied all day as rain squalls ran through the area but as the weather cleared Pat Stanton-Nadin and Paul Bovingdon saw the yacht
'Windara.'
