THE main deck of the Tamar Bridge will be closed to all traffic from 8pm today (Friday, July 3) until 6am on Monday for essential maintenance works.

Food hygiene ratings given to 13 Cornwall establishmentsTraffic heading towards Plymouth will be directed onto the north cantilever lane. Traffic coming into Cornwall will be diverted onto the south cantilever which will be closed to all pedestrians and cyclists.
A free shuttle bus service will be in operation between the Tamar Bridge car park and Fore Street in Saltash.
The works will continue next weekend.
