THE starring role at the recent wedding of Sue and Martin Ryan, at St Giles-on-the-Heath, near Launceston, was taken by Twinkle, Sue's old pony, who managed to upstage priest, groom and even the bride!

Twinkle has a long and distinguished history in Pony Club, having carried Rebecca Ryan, Gemma Wilson and is now very popular at St Leonard's Equitation Centre at Polson; and also started Toby Ryan riding on his road to international competition in Tetrathlon.

Twinkle's foal Barney is following her tradition, and attended Lamerton's Pony Club Camp this summer, ridden by Gemma. Sue Ryan is the assistant District Commissioner of the Lamerton.
