LAUNCESTON Golf Club held their Lippiat Salver competition on Sunday, May 15.
A nearly full entry for this medal event were faced with a stiff breeze coupled with lightening fast greens which ensured that scoring well would be a tough proposition.
The winner of the Lippiat Salver, Brian Ben-David, playing off a handicap of 10, seemed to take all this in his stride however,and shot a very commendable gross 78, two shots clear of the runner-up.
