THERE was a good turnout to celebrate Bream Early Learner's 50th anniversary.
Old and new faces reunited – including those who attended the pre-school as a child and now have their own children there.
Committee secretary, Kath Lee said: "We did a presentation to recognise Margaret Harries, who has worked for us for 22 years and is retiring at the end of the year. The children really enjoyed the barbecue, bouncy castle, face painting and Punch and Judy show.
"Stalls and refreshments raised £500 which will go into our new building fund. Further fundraising is taking place, through requests of support from local businesses, and a sponsored go ape and zip wire event is taking place on June 6 by parents and staff.
"If anyone would like to provide sponsorship to these activities we would be massively grateful."
