A BIG breakfast event was held at Bude Methodist Hall on Saturday, June 15 to raise money for an orphanage in Luweero, Uganda.

Kieran Ward, of Marhamchurch, will be taking part in a two-week volunteer trip to the orphanage with friends in July, and has been raising money for the children there.

Kieran's family are members of Bude Methodist Church, and they appealed to the local community to help with raising money.
