Breakfast with Santa at St Breward Village Hall on a December Saturday morning was attended by more than 150 people over the three-hour period the meals were served.

With extensive decorations both inside and outside the hall, Santa visited for an hour and a half and during that time 57 children visited him in his magical Grotto.

Visitors were entertained by the St Breward Junior Band, helped by members of the Silver Band, while breakfasts were eaten and the younger children made Christmas decorations at the activity table.

The event added almost £450 to village hall funds.
