A LADY who lives in Devon, but is just a quarter of a mile from Cornwall, has been left infuriated after being told that she cannot use her 4x4 vehicle to deposit waste at a designated site unless she lives in Cornwall.

Lesley Perrettt, who lives on the Kilkhampton side of Bradworthy, has used the household waste and recycling centre at Tiscott, Bude, for nearly five years to deposit her unwanted household items.

This is the closest centre, just four miles from where Lesley lives, otherwise she would have to travel to Torrington (nearly a 40 mile round trip) or Holsworthy, which is also out of her way.
