IN RESPONSE to the letter in the paper dated February 26 'We need to strengthen Boyton', which consisted of a statement: "We need to strengthen the village, not see it die." On reading this I failed to realise that Mr and Mrs Kurn live in Boyton.

As village correspondent for your paper there is seldom a week with no village news from Boyton relating to an event having taken place.

Having been born in Boyton almost 70 years ago never have there been as many organisations holding weekly or monthly events as there are at present. These are published on a 'Monthly Diary' and erected at various points around the village stating that everyone is welcome to attend any or all of these events.

The only thing required to stop Boyton from dying is more 'time' to be able to enjoy all the entertainment provided for the community.

Boyton.
