A group of walkers, led by retired landlord of the Cobweb Inn, Boscastle, Mr Ivor Bright, recently set off from St Juliot Church to walk through the Valency Valley to Boscastle in aid of Parkinson's Disease. A short break was taken at the home of Mrs M Biscombe where, with the help of Mrs A Biscombe, a welcome cup of tea and light refreshments were served and a raffle was held. On reaching Boscastle, a lovely lunch was served at the Cobweb Inn, which completed an enjoyable walk. Everyone who took part wished to thank those who sponsored them and Adrian and the staff at the Cobweb who kindly transported the walkers to St Juliot Church to commence the walk. The total amount raised was £1,381.60.
