Karen Cowling from Boscastle will represent the South West region in a national final for British Horse Society registered riding instructors at Royal Windsor Horse Show on May 12-16. The Martin Collins BHS Instructors' Challenge is a combined training competition open to all BHS registered instructors. Qualifiers are held around the UK, with the top two prize winners of each region going forward to the final at Royal Windsor on Wednesday, May 12. The second qualifying competition for the South West was held at Duchy College, where the winner was Karen riding Bronte. Second place went to Louise Garland from Saltash, who rode Red River II. Joining Karen and Louise at the final in Windsor will be the winners from the first qualifier for the South West – Jo Roberts from Bridgwater, Somerset and Katie Butler from North Dorset.
