The Boscastle Postmaster David Saxby is pictured above with his wife Sue, in the sorting room, days before the Post Office closed. The Post Office which opened in the old Weslyan Chapel in Dunn Street in the 1950s was a casualty of the recent Post Office cuts. It closed yesterday (Wednesday). Some postal services will still be available in the village, at the Cornish Stores from today (Thursday).
