THE Boscastle Pantomime Group are hoping to shake things up with this year’s performance of Robin Hood, also known as the ‘Boscastle redevelopment plan!’

A spokesperson said: “Have you heard about the new development programme for Boscastle? Where do you think the new Sheriff of Boscastle should put his new theme park? Is the Cobweb car park the right place for a big wheel and dodgem cars? How can Paradise Road be redeveloped in order to fit in with the theme and is the harbour able to bring the outlaws together to win back his land as well as winning the hand of the Maid Marion?”

The cast this year includes — ‘Robin Hood’, Enya Beard; ‘Maid Marion’, Ruby Keat; ‘The Sheriff of Nottingham’, Emma Harvey; ‘Dogberry’, Dawn Garrod; ‘Dame Euphonia’, Julian Findlay; ‘Lord Knowse’, Steve Simmonds; ‘Sir Cecil’, Aaron; ‘Sir Cedric’, Fitzy; ‘Friar Tuck’, Jeff Metters; ‘Little John’, Bob Guy; ‘Will Scarlett’, Brona Simmonds; ‘Alan Adair’ and ‘Ruth the Soothsayer’, Julie Potter; ‘Matilda’, Sophie Edwards; ‘Much’, Zara Templar; ‘Soldier No.1’, Maddison Underhill; ‘Soldier No.2’, Annabell Potter; ‘Landlord’, ‘Gaston le Chef’ and ‘Woody the Woodman’, Mike Parsons; ‘Gerald the Dog’, Libby Brocklehurst; ‘Oak Tree’, Rob Williams; ‘Ash Tree’ and ‘King Dick’, Don Lyle; ‘Tree’ and ‘Little Bo Peep’, Bob Harvey.
