A Christmas party was held at the Cobweb Inn, Boscastle, on Friday, December 18. A total of 96 recently retired people were treated to a slap-up Christmas
dinner, all paid for by 19 Boscastle area tradespeople. Builders, plumbers and electricians all contributed both time and money for the day. Carols were sung and lunch served by both builders and staff from the Cobweb. A free raffle with 50 donated prizes was held and a collection was made for the air ambulance and £174 was made for the charity. Paul Tamplin said: "All in all it was a fantastic day and all who attended said they hoped it could go ahead again next year." Thanks have been extended to everyone who contributed and a special thanks to Adrian bright and the staff at the Cobweb.
