AN APPEAL lodged against North Cornwall District Council's decision to refuse permission for a new rear two storey extension at Old Barn, Trebiffen Farm, Boscastle has been dismissed by a planning inspector.
Mr Christopher Key had appealed against NCDC's decision to refuse approval for an extension which would have provided a bedroom on the ground floor and additional kitchen/dining space on the first floor.
However, planning inspector, Chris Anscombe dismissed the appeal stating: "I conclude that the proposed extensions would seriously harm the character and appearance of the existing building."
