KELLY House opened their gardens over the weekend of Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11 to raise money for Children’s Hospice South West.

Devon Art Pop, a collection of artists from all over the county provided a pop-up art gallery while Barracott Plants from Gunnislake were also present.

Kelly House also provided plenty of refreshments, including cakes, a cream tea and tea and coffee.

In total, £268 was raised for CHSW.

Event organiser, Sophia Kelly, was pleased with how it went, saying: “The weekend went pretty well considering the awful weather on Saturday. We raised a good amount for Children’s Hospice South West so that’s the main thing.

“I’d like to thank all of the charity’s volunteers for coming out to help and for all the people who came along.”

The next event – ‘Woolly Weekend’ — is scheduled for Saturday, October 14 and Sunday, October 15, where 15 stall holders from Devon and Cornwall will showcase their wool-based products.
