The Gateway Centre in Launceston has received a donation from Premier Foods towards the refurbishment of the building's Redeeming Our Communities (ROC) Hub. The donation covers the materials to refurbish the ground floor room at the centre — the former Inland Revenue building — as well as create a refreshment bar area within the space. Rob Upchurch, Gateway Centre member and pilot plant technician at Ambrosia factory, part of Premier Foods, presented the cheque for £2,250 to John Berriman, the senior pastor at the Gateway 2 New Life Church, which is housed in the building.
