A CHARITY based in Launceston will be hosting an online tombola to raise money towards special keepsake boxes, helping families to cope with the loss of a baby.

Bobby’s Little Angels, a charity run by Becki Jessie-Louise Jefferies and Andrew Jackson from Launceston, was set up in memory of Becki and Andrew’s unborn baby boy, Bobby, who they sadly lost in May, 2017, after he was ‘born sleeping’.

Becki and Andrew were keen to address the taboo subject of baby loss. Becki said: “Baby loss is such a taboo subject, which people often shy away from. We set up Bobby’s Little Angels in memory of our son who we lost at 29 weeks just before birth.”

However, their ‘survivor’, Bobby’s twin brother Freddy, is still with them today, joining siblings Rhys, Tyler and Esmay.

Bobby’s Little Angels has an aim to provide parents and siblings of a lost baby with special boxes full of keepsakes and memories to cherish. Items in the boxes are funded by donations from fundraising events.

Now, Bobby’s Little Angels will be holding an online tombola — where everybody is able to win a prize. People wishing to take part can buy a number for the tombola for just £1, with all proceeds going to Bobby’s Little Angels’ baby boxes.
