A NUMBER of ‘blushing brides’ took to the stage recently for an ‘Autumn Wedding Fayre’ and catwalk.

Three Holsworthy ladies, Doreen Lock, Myrtle Harris and Joan Brock opened the event. All three have celebrated their 90th birthdays this year.

The fayre was held in Holsworthy’s Memorial Hall from 11am to 3pm and saw a host of beautiful wedding attire, with light lunches provided for visitors, along with high and cream teas.

At 12.30pm Lowen Bridal, of Launceston, held the catwalk show where a number of models paraded up and down the catwalk in beautiful wedding gowns and bridesmaid and prom dresses.

The following week Lowen Bridal got to do it all again, attending Launceston’s Wedding Fare held in the White Hart Hotel, then the week after they attended a Wedding Fair at Bude’s Falcon Hotel.

A fun time was had by all.
