CAMELFORD in Bloom winners were announced at the Camelford Show on August 8, praising local gardens and businesses that have flourished with beautiful displays of plants and flowers.

The winners were announced on August 8 by Camelford Town Council at the Camelford Show. Mayor, Cllr Kirsty Ferguson, escorted the judges around to the various sites and the winners were chosen from a vast array of quality competition.

Cllr Ferguson said: “Thank you to all for taking part and congratulations to the winners!”

A presentation of all trophies will be made in the near future.

Results:

Commercial — Darlington Inn.

Residential, window boxes/hanging baskets — Geoff Kay.

Residential, garden — Mark Hamlyn and Helen Dungey.

Allotment — David Wheeler.
