PLOUGHS were blessed at Pancrasweek as part of the traditional ceremony celebrating the beginning of the agricultural year.

A joint benefice service, led by the Rev Chris Hardwick, took place at St Pancras Church, Pancrasweek, on Sunday, January 19.

Members from St Bridget's Church, Bridgerule, and St Swithins's Church, Pyworthy, joined with members from St Pancras Church in the annual service of Blessing of the Ploughs.
