DELABOLE Carnival Committee have once again been congratulated on another successful week of entertainment, culminating in the carnival procession on Saturday.

Judges found it very hard to choose between items in several classes, such was the quality of the entries.

Carnival chairman, Andrew Stacey, said: "It has been an excellent week. We were very fortunate with the weather, especially for the carnival procession, with black clouds threatening, but no rain!"
